Like his comrades, Josef Linda was one of those young Czechs, who dreamed of the resurrection of the glorious past of his people. In addition, Linda was a friend Hanka, they lived in the same apartment and even took care of a girl, Barbara, who, however, preferred to gank, later becoming his wife.
